Disney announced the release date for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, along with other movies, will land in theaters in 2026.
According to a story at Variety, The Mandalorian and Grogu is set to open on May 22, 2026. Toy Story 5 will arrive on June 19, 2026, and the Moana live-action movie will arrve on July 10, 2026.
While many of our Spoilerites will be excited about The Mandalorian and Grogu release date, keep in mind that over the last decade studios have routinely moved, shuffled, and bumped movies to different dates, seemingly on a whim, other times because of lockdowns, and still others because the production companies can’t deliver the films on time.
In other words, don’t que up at the movie theater for tickets just yet, and don’t hold your breath that these announced dates will stick.
