I thought they would show it off today, but on Tuesday, Marvel Comics released its first look at Spider-Man’s new suit that will arrive in The Amazing Spider-Man #63.
The costume is designed by Dustin Weaver, and it isn’t too bad.
“This design was really a collaborative effort between Nick Spencer, Editor Nick Lowe, and I. They reined in the weirder and more techy features I was bringing and helped create something that I think is simple and both futuristic and classical,” Weaver said. “I can’t wait to see Patrick Gleason really bring it to life!”
What do you think of this new costume? Is it the best? The worst? Do you wanna play this as a variant costume in the Spider-Man video game? Let us know!

looks a little too Iron Man for me. i do like a few of the smaller tweaks like more techy-gauntlet web-shooters, the light-up spider logo and eyes (though again, probably a little too much Iron Man/MCU influence there), but it looks a little drab without the red. i’m sure there’s some in-story explanation for it (like maybe it’s a stealth/camo thing since NYC is mostly metal and glass, so blending in more with all the blue/gray may help?), but eh. what do i know.
Of all the costumes I have seen Spidey wear, this certainly seems to be one of them.
Color scheme makes it reminiscent of his old Ricochet identity. Just needs a jacket.
