Kevin Bacon went to Camp Crystal Lake. So did Corey Feldman a few years later, in the same film as Marty McFly’s dad, Crispin Glover. Kelly Hu met Jason Voorhees on his trip to Manhattan, while Killer Frost Danielle Panabaker was in a reboot, while legendary body horror film-maker David Cronenberg was in “Jason X.” He probably wants to forget that film… I know I do. With 12 films in the canon, assuming you count ‘Freddy Vs. Jason’, the Friday The 13th series is as wide as a machete blade and equally sharp, leading to today’s triskaidekaphobic query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) will always have a spot in my heart for Part III, thanks to the 3D gimmick, but is one of the only fans of ‘Friday The 13th: The Series’ as well, asking: What’s the BEST entry in the ‘Friday The 13th’ series?

I haven’t seen even close to all of them, so can’t really tell. What’s the first one he had the mask on all the time? That one.
I like the first one the best. I didn’t see the twist coming (I was, like, 10 at the time lol) And there was some mystery about who was doing the killing, and they had a motivation for it. The sequels were (mostly) a lot of fun, tho. :)
“Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter” was always my favorite because it is the first one that I saw. I think that kind of sticks with me in the same way as your first Doctor.
I did recently watch the “Vorhees” fan-film and, I gotta say, it’s better than a lot of the official entries. Yes, I know that necessarily isn’t saying much, but still, credit where credit is due.
