Back in 1979, I rode my red BMX bicycle with the gold handlebars ALL THE WAY ACROSS Beloit, Kansas to the TG&Y department store to buy my very own V.I.N.Cent action figure. Even now, more than forty years later, he sits in a place of honor on the very laptop on which these words are being typed. I eagerly awaited the second wave of figures, with the promised Old B.O.B.companion piece, but it sadly never came. (At least, not to Kansas, as the poor showing of ‘The Black Hole’ meant that my dream merch was only available in Italy and Canadia. To this day, it is referenced as a legendary rarity among action figure enthusiasts.) Fortunately, patience is a virtue, even for nerds, and 2020 promises to bring my Old B.O.B. figure at long last, leading to today antici….

Almost everything I want is made. Except, where is my Seven Samurai collectible figure pack? I think there has been something at some point, but I mean modern, well made and available.
A diecast model of a Gunstar from the Last Starfighter. Really, any model of a Gunstar.
I want a realistic-looking lightsaber that can actually retract into the hilt when deactivated.
