CHRISTOPHER: New series coming out of a great writer and artist. I love coming-of-age stories because your protagonist are malleable to be different by the end of a story. Looking forward to this interpretation of the sub-genre.

In desperation, researcher Jack Davidson starts letting ethics fall to the wayside. There’s a lot of food for thought in this one along with the suspense about what this could mean for the human race.

JUSTIN JORDAN (LUTHER STRODE) and REBEKAH ISAACS (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) create a grim fantasy comic for a post-Game of Thrones world.
CHRISTOPHER: Interesting series that unties a suicide squad with grim epic fantasy and I’m on board with it. I haven’t got all the issues but this for sure on my reading list this week.
RONIN ISLAND #10

SOLICITATION: With enemies on all sides, Hana and Kenichi struggle to protect the island and themselves. But the Shogun has a more sinister plan brewing, and for anyone to survive this fight, Kenichi will need to rally the island’s forces, and Hana will have to prove to those loyal to the Shogun that his way of life is not worth fighting for.
INGRID: Ronin Island is a terrific book, and its tale of people learning to get along and trust one another despite their differences is so important in this day and age. Hana and Kenichi have been through a lot and are building their own coalition of people as they try to fight off the Shogun’s forces – and his monsters!

CHRISTOPHER: Domino has been having an interesting arc in the X-Force title and it looks like she is going to continue to jump back into the limelight. I’m compelled by her story and then we can see some of the mental stress that has happened to Colossus. What themes are we going to explore here? I don’t know but I’m excited.
