Dark Horse Comics today announced the May 2020 release of Steam from writer Drew Ford and artist Duane Leslie.
Steam is the story of Arlo, a young boy who escapes his abusive guardians on Earth, through an intergalactic portal to the steam-powered planet of Pother. There he discovers his long-lost father inadvertently helped a powerful corporation from Earth in their efforts to deplete the planet’s resources.
Now Arlo must set things right by joining a small group of resisters from Pother, as they work to both remove this dangerous organization from their world and protect the planet’s indigenous beings. Through this epic adventure, Arlo discovers his self-worth and perhaps even his life’s ultimate destiny.
Steam is scheduled to arrive on May 27, 2020.
