For some reason, my social media feeds of late have been full of praise and reminiscence about ‘Calvin And Hobbes’, once again reminding me how much I miss Bill Watterson on the comics page. Of course, back when I was reading regularly, Bill was joined by Gary Larson, Garry Trudeau in his prime and a host of others that I also miss. (At least Berke Breathed is back with ‘Bloom County’, though it will sadly never be 1988 again.) Of course, it’s not only the comics page that leaves me lamenting missing favorites, as I can’t remember the last thing I saw Eliza Dushku in and the New Warriors are once again MIA, meaning Fabian Nicieza has work to do, which leads us to today’s gone-but-never-forgotten query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would also love to see Rick Moranis back in action, perhaps reviving the McKenzie Brothers with Dave Thomas, asking: What retired pop culture actor or creator would you most like to see return to work?

Jerri Blank from Strangers with Candy. Or Chris Peterson from Get a Life.
Oh wait. Wait. Wait. Wait… “Together… they solve mysteries!”
I always wished Sean Connery would end his career on a high note. Guess not.
