Circa 2011, when the New 52 Wonder Woman designs were circulating, there was a lot of complaining (some of it admittedly from me) about retconning her traditional culottes/bathing suit bottoms. But recently, having seen the ill-fated WW pilot starring Adrienne Palicki from ‘The Orville,’ and I’m wondering: SHOULD Wonder Woman wear pants? I mean, the costume was the best thing about that show, and even an invulnerable woman could use a little help in the “leg-protection” department, leading to today’s Paradise Island query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) has had complicated discussions about how much change is too much change in a costume, and the current version has changed enough that I can’t really argue pants is a step too far, asking: Should Wonder Woman wear pants?

YES! When she’s in the white spy outfit or when it’s Cathy Lee Crosby. Otherwise, whatever she wants!
Now you’ve got me picturing her Donald Ducking it.
But yes, she should wear pants. She should wear what is appropriate to warriors of the era in which she is fighting, and these days women warriors wear pants.
