While I’m not always a big fan of the idea of role models, especially fictional ones, there are a few imaginary folks whose opinions, were they real, would carry a lot of weight with me: Captain America for one, Garnet of the Crystal Gems for another, as well as Saturn Girl of the Legion of Super-Heroes. I’d even enjoy getting the thumbs up from CW Supergirl, a clean-cut, good-natured, hopeful superhero of the type they don’t make often enough anymore. Her seal of approval would carry a lot of weight with me, leading to today’s aspirational query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) has the problem where a lot of my fave-raves, like Han Solo and Iron Man, are really not the kind of people one should seek approbation from, asking: What fictional character’s seal of approval would mean the most to you, personally?

the single nod from Batman or Captain America. or both, really.
A bow from Kazuma Kiryu from Sega’s Yakuza games.
