    Major Spoilers Question of the Day: Chocolate Cake Edition

    There’s a mean-spirited saying I encounter occasionally, an admission that someone loves something “as much as a fat kid loves chocolate cake.”  As a former fat kid, I’m offended…  but I do love me some chocolate cake.  It’s on the list of foods I don’t have very often, for caloric as well as pain-in-the-butt-to-make reasons, but I still can’t resist it, and since we’re all pals here in MS-QOTD corner, it raises today’s after-dinner query…

    The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) is now over the long-term sinus infection that made things so difficult for me in the last few weeks, so I’m ready for dessertery, asking: What dessert do you love as much as I love chocolate cake?

    Once upon a time, there was a young nerd from the Midwest, who loved Matter-Eater Lad and the McKenzie Brothers... If pop culture were a maze, Matthew would be the Minotaur at its center.       But, funny as you may find this, I also have a deep love and appreication for the McDonald’s apple pie…mmmm
