A slightly more successful attempt to create a new young hero, Yolanda “Yo-Yo” Martinez is the daughter of super-villain The Griffin and a founding member of Nick Fury’s New Warriors.  With superhuman speed, she served with honor, even losing her arms in battle.  (They were eventually replaced with cybernetic limbs.)  She’s perhaps best known for her live-action turn on ‘Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD’, where her powers were tempered somewhat, but her character was made quite a bit more interesting…
