Nothing screams “Norse Thunder God” like disco bondage pants with spikes and an exposed midriff, although you have to give Marvel credit for using that bared belly button on both genders. The design work of Mike Deodato (who also gave us Wonder Woman’s black leather straps and bolero jacket uniform), it’s a horrifying example of what could happen to even the most staid and respectable of superheroes in the decades that gave us sleeveless trench coats and spiked mullets…
