[Digital] Dynamite and Swyft Media team for Emoji keyboard

Press ReleaseBy Press ReleaseOctober 7, 20154 Mins Read

Dynamite Entertainment announced today that it has teamed up with Swyft Media, the company driving the “emojification” of brands, to develop select Dynamite characters and help fans further express themselves via branded digital stickers, photo filters, and phone themes. The branded units will be available across various apps and marketplaces, including BBM and the branded emoji keyboards which are compatible with popular messaging apps such as Facebook Messenger, Viber, Line and WhatsApp, among others, will be available for download on the Apple iTunes and Google Play.

“Dynamite is excited to be working with Swyft, who are helping deliver our characters through another avenue for people to enjoy,” says Director of Business Development Rich Young. “Being able to express yourself with some of these stickers and graphics adds way more flavor than your standard emojis, and is just flat out fun!”

The first Dynamite Entertainment property to be emojified will be Smiley the Psychotic Button. Ripped from the pages of the Chaos! Comics’ universe, Smiley is the constant companion of Evil Ernie, and always has an over-the-top opinion to share. Future releases will include Vampirella and other well-known characters from Dynamite’s expansive library of publications.

“Brand loyalists love being able to show their passion and excitement for their favorite characters or products with their friends, and branded units like emoji, photo filters, and phone themes are a great way to empower them to do that,” said Evan Wray, co-founder and vice president at Swyft Media. “Dynamite Entertainment has created a highly engaging and effective way for its fans to not only share their passion for its comics and characters, but to simultaneously amplify the Dynamite brand to potentially millions of other consumers by allowing its fans to personalize their social posts, chats, and photos with branded content. At a time when other brands are paying millions of dollars hoping for clicks, Dynamite has upleveled its game by allowing consumers to voluntarily put their brand at the center of social conversation. That’s pretty powerful.”
