During an interview with Empire Magazine to discus his upcoming film The Martian (adapted from the Andy Weir novel of the same name), director Ridley Scott announced his next directing project and it is going to be Prometheus 2.
“I was already on to my next movie!” adds Scott. “I was starting to look for locations for my next movie, which is Prometheus 2.”
Reactions to Prometheus (released in 2012), were mixed, leaving many film goers wondering why Scott would want to work on a sequel.
What would you like to see in Prometheus 2? Are you looking forward to seeing this story continue? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Good luck getting people in the theatre for that one. I hated the first.
I absolutely loved the first one and am looking forward to seeing the sequel
If he puts a coherent story and doesn’t try to force an Alien movies connection, I might see it when they show it on cable, maybe.
The 1st one was a mess of illogical actions by the crew of the ship, pointless plot lines (seriously who cares about the old man dying?) and unresolved ideas, the big thing was the engineers wanting to destroy Humanity, we never learn why or why they called it off.
The whole movie is built around this mystery, and there’s no pay off at the end…
