Capaldi was introduced as the new Doctor last November, and we got a very small glimpse of him during the Christmas Special.
As mentioned on this week’s Finally Friday live stream, the BBC has opted not to do a San Diego Comic Con appearance this year, so that it can include more fans in the the Doctor Who experience, and appropriately, the Doctor Who World Tour will kick of in Wales this summer, with Mr. Capaldi and Jenna Coleman, who plays Clara Oswald, appearing in New York on August 14, 2014.
