Though I didn’t play the video game, I did get into the story and world of The Last of Us – especially the twist that the “zombies” were really fungus infected mind-controlled humans. Brandon Hunt must like the world too, as the writer/director put together this short fan.
Set in the world of Naughty Dog’s “The Last of Us”, “Trust” follows the unlikely pairing of Rhys & Kate as they traverse an apocalyptic world ravaged by hostile humans and zombie-like creatures infected by a mutated strain of the Cordyceps fungus.
