Variety is reporting that Warner Bros. has cast Ray Fisher to play Cyborg in the upcoming Batman-Superman movie.
I’m with you, in that I have no idea what Warner Bros. is thinking at this point – originally it was Man of Steel 2, then given an unofficial title of Batman vs. Superman, and now with the casting of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg, the only thing left is to throw in a teenage fish man (you’re welcome Matthew), a scarlet speedster, and a green martian with a fixation for Oreo cookies, and the movie is complete.
In the bonus feature on the recent “Man of Steel” homevideo release, Cavill, who plays Superman in the film, said there’s a great deal of promise in Cyborg as well as the fictional research facility S.T.A.R. Labs, which appears in several DC Comics.
The Zach Snyder film is scheduled to open May 6, 2016.

Is it really Superman Vs. Batman anymore if they keep on adding JLA casting? Or they’re just creating hype for a JLA movie with just announcing the casting, not that the actual people will be in the movie for a significant amount of screentime. Either way, hopefully the movie turns out well.
Cyborg AND Wonder Woman’s gonna be in it?! Hmm… I may have to go see this after all…
Wait, hold up. Glaa is a member of the Justice League now?
Also, they might as well just call this project a Justice League movie at this point.
We don’t really know if any of these characters have a big part in the movie. They might all be in the end credits scene and instead of keeping it secret they are revealing it to keep us guessing and generate hype.
I really wish they had cast the guy as Martian Manhunter though. Poor guy is getting no respect lately.
I would guess they’re all just mentions or cameos, then expanded roles in later movies. Seems dumb to have them all at once and then do the stand alone movies.
