Good new for those wanting to know what happens in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars saga. Disney and Lucafilm are sending the final season to Netflix in March!
According to the press release, ” the sixth and final season of the Emmy(r) Award-winning series Star Wars: The Clone Wars exclusively to Netflix members in the US and Canada on Friday, March 7. Accompanying the 13-episode new season dubbed “The Lost Missions” will be the entire Star Wars: The Clone Wars saga, which includes several director’s cut episodes never seen on TV as well as the feature film. ”
This is a multi-year agreement – and the first time ANY Star Wars content has appeared on Netflix, so you better hope the series lands on iTunes or DVD before the show gets yanked off of Netflix.
“Star Wars is one of the most iconic franchises of all time and this series joins a long line of Disney content that Netflix members are and will continue to enjoy for years to come,” said Ted Sarandos, Netflix chief content officer. “The Clone Wars marks an important moment as Netflix welcomes more and more first-run content from The Walt Disney Company and its subsidiaries.”
We know what happens in Episode III, so it shouldn’t be a big surprise if at the end of this series, somebody dies.

Thank the maker! I was bummed to hear it was canceled instead of moved. I’m hoping they were able to do some big things with the story and wrap up some story arcs. I’d hate to see it left hanging.
I think this is at grat time to end Clone Wars.
I enjoyed the ride, but all things has to come to an end. And now it the time to leave the the slimlined “Empire” behind and focus on the “rough n’ tough” Rebellion.
Will be interresting to see what they do to Asoka.
