Who would have figured the Zygons would be the big rubber monster in the 50th anniversary Doctor Who special? Not me, not you, and most certainly not the big villains in the Who-niverse… yeah, I’m using that word from now on, so there.

These are hard. The bulk of what I remember from Doctor Who come from the 9th and 10th incarnations. I watched the 4th incarnation, but I was a kid. I always tend to vote for villains that have more recent prominence because I don’t have reference to those who haven’t been used recently
As we saw in the Five Doctors Cyber-brawn is no match for evil Time Lord brains.
I would go with the Master somehow scheming his way into control of the Cyberman and wining through making them his puppets.
If the Doctor can outwit the Cybermen, then the Master can. He would come up with some clever plot in which they would end up destroying themselves. The Cybermen don’t have any imagination; the Master has loads of it. The Master would win this one hand down.
No contest. The Master could easily outwit the Cybermen. Heck, he’d probably find a way to use them to his advantage before finally defeating them.
The Master: Stole regenerations from other time lords, created a paradox machine out of the TARDIS and controlled Earth for a year, turned the human race into the Master race. Just as brilliant as he his crazy.
Cybermen: deactivate their emotional blocker and their heads blow up.
The Master can go toe to toe with the Doctor and the Doctor has bested the Cybermen many more times in many incarnation. The Master can outsmart them.
I gotta go with the Cybermen since if even one survives they’ll just start assimilating again whereas the master has regenerations but only so many.
The Master has kicked Cyberman butt before in The Five Doctors. And then, after engineering their slaughter, he compared them to sheep. FTW.
Of course the master would win, he has the better picture, duh.
Doctor routinely beats Cybermen, Master is Doctor’s equal. Master wins this one no problem. We seriously need to revive Delgado & Ainley to do a multi-Master mini-series.
Time Lord ’nuff said.
