A wise man once said, “Never pay full price for late pizza.” I’m hoping we can transfer that logic to movie theater tickets as Paramount has decided to push the release date for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie back.
The series reboot was originally schedule for June 6th of next year, but fans will have to wait till August 8th to see the Turtles on the screen once again. The studio said that the lack of family friendly films in the late Summer should help the box office. I agree, but not in that statement. I agree with that statement lying in between the words that goes like this: Not putting the Turtles close to films like Days of Future Past, Amazing Spider-Man 2 and our other flick Transformers 4 should really help our box office.
In case you forgot, the upcoming Ninja Turtles movie will star Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, William Fichtner, Will Arnett, Whoopie Goldberg. Are you still excited about the reboot? Does pushing the release date back scare you? Let us know in the comments below!

Can’t say if I’m excited or not yet. TMNT is one of those things like Transformers that I’ve always liked the concept, but I haven’t liked every incarnation. Just have to wait and see how it turns out.
I can at least say I understand why pushing the date makes sense, and as someone who rarely goes to the theater to see movies, I’m more likely to see it if it isn’t competing with several other movies I’d like to see.
