The Michael Bay produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie has already been met with backlash from the moment a whiff of the script was leaked. Apparently things are turning around as Ninja Turtles creator Kevin Eastman says the movie will blow us away. I’m not completely convinced of that, but if more pictures like the following continue to be released I could be swayed.
This first hazy picture appears to feature a Shredder like character within the Turtles lair, so that could mean bad news for the Turtles.
Now on to some classic Turtles imagery: pizza boxes!
What I’m really wanting to see from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are the first completed images of what the turtles will look like. We see an actor wearing motion capture suits in the top and bottom pictures, but those will be replaced by digital counterparts and how those look could say much about the movie. Images like those are most likely months away, so we will just have to be happy with these for now.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is being directed by Jonathan Liebesman, features actress Megan Fox, and, of course, being produced by Michael Bay and has a release date of June 6, 2014.
