The West Coast premiere of Justice League: DOOM takes place next Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. Tim Daly, Phil Morris, Paul Blackthorne, Oliva d’Abo, and Susan Eisenberg will be at the event, and to get you pumped, Warner Home Video sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of the movie.

I didn’t get a chance to read the “Doom” story line in comic form so I don’t know what’s going on, but it’s interesting to see Supes with his dander up. Did you ever read the classic Gold Rush novel “The Travels of Jamie McPheaters”? There is a big, slow, oversized peace loving farmer who endures the teasing and contempt of one of their bullying companions. One day when the bully has gone off the rails, so to speak, and threatening major mayhem, the farmer says “You’re all het up. Git un-het.” and picks the fellow up with one hand and tossing him across the room. Supes reminded me of that scene.
