Well I went to see it on Friday and I really enjoyed it it had a good balance of laughs/ action and character chemistry and carried through the great bits from the first one such as the Sherlock pre fight vision sequence but with twists added in when it is used so as to keep its freshness.
Fans of the books are also well catered for in terms of the ending sequence being faithful to how it panned out in the books. It also did a fine job of keeping me entertained enough to pick holes in it (which i end up doing if i find a move boring) and only found myself spotting and pointing out one Historical inaccuracy which was the loading method of a certain pistol of the time (*NERD*).
Overall if you enjoyed the first film by all means go and see it , its more of the same and adds to what was great from the first one in every sense, the same also applies vice versa however if you didn’t enjoy the first film that much you might consider giving this one a miss.
Just saw it this afternoon. I am a big fan of the books, so I knew the direction it was going, but I was quite pleased with how they delivered it. I really enjoyed the first movie, & was happy with this. There was a couple spots where it got slow, but overall I was happy with it.
I loved it. Thought it was easily as good as the first. I was giddy when they pulled out the music from “Two Mules for Sister Sara”
