I’ve recently come into Booster Gold and I love this guy! Such a great character
Sigh- obviously the Perforated Man is Booster Gold in the far far far far future, right? Seems like it anyway
I am surprised this book has lasted this many issues.
It looks like a fairly heavy-handed satire of the Penance character that has since reverted to Speedball.
And yes, it is all but said aloud that the Perforated Man is a possible future Booster Gold.
Giffen is not the most subtle of writers even in his best day, and he has always been particularly rough with Booster. Will someone take him out of the book already?
Hmm, from what I have read online since, it seems that he IS leaving the book so that Dan Jurgens can have his baby back in #44 :) that is nice to know.
Unfortunately, J.M. DeMatteis seems to also believe that the Perforated Man is supposed to be taken as a straight nemesis for Booster Gold. If this preview is anything to go by, the idea is ludicruous. The man is disfuncional to the point of barely being able to talk three sentences straight.
Sigh. Booster Gold has been trailed away from its proper characterization even worse than the Green Lanterns. No wonder I don’t read DC anymore.
