Egon, Peter, Ray, and Winston may be the best Ghostbusters out there, but I’m not sure I want the visage of Bill Murray sitting on my shelf staring at me all day. Kotobukiya has come to our rescue with this sexy little Ghostbusters statue in their Movie x Bishoujo line.
Lucy is a 1/7 scale statue, designed by Shunya Yamashita, that will set you back 6,800JPY (Approximately $82 US), when it arrives in late July 2011.

Love it. I really have to get working so I can buy some of these statues, they look so good. I have a bed in my apartment, the rest of the furniture can wait, right? >.<
i like it..i understand the market for these things and i fall into it. but even i have to say the tore up pants are a bit much. why not make a bunch of naked statues and get it over with already.
If the pants weren’t just-escaped-a-possible-assault shredded, I’d be cool with it. But as it is, it’s another thing giving both geeks & anime fans an unnecessary pervy image.

I’ve got ghosts where do I call to get this Ghostbuster. O wait delusions of grandeur, brain freeze. Actually not really much different from the DC Line of Superheroines and villainesses. Wonder Woman, Catwoman etc. Japanese companies knowing that most of us of that collect comics, dvds, action figures, statues, etc will snap this up as soon as Diamond has it in their next catalog. @Grotesk, If you have the Real Ghostbusters DVD complete set or I don’t remember the single set it falls under, but there’s any episode “Devil in the Deep” and Janine Melnitz is in a bikini. Looking at this statue, the hair color is not that far off from Janine’s just need some small green glasses….
