Back to the Future gets new video game, and concept art

    Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherSeptember 7, 2010Updated:September 7, 20104 Comments1 Min Read

I’ve been trying to track down details about this announcement for a week or so, but to no avail.  What we do know is Telltale Games is in the process of cooking up a brand new Back to the Future videogame to be released this Winter. USA Today had the first image design, and while it looks  tad disturbing, if the entire game looks like this, I’d be okay with it.

As for the storyline, Telltale would confirm that the games would include an appearance of the DeLorean time machine and, the fictional California setting of Hill Valley. The time periods covered will include 1985 and additional characters from the movies will crop up in the game.

I just hope the music doesn’t suck. I want some Huey Lewis.

I know that Thomas F. Wilson, and Christopher Lloyd will voice the roles of Biff and Doc, but I hope they can get Michael J. Fox to reprise his role of Marty.

Also Bob Gale the writer of the original is writing the game, so that should be good.

Now I wonder what I going to happen to BTTF’s sister game, Jurrasic Park?

I’m hoping that Telltale can do something great, like they did with Sam and Max and the Strong Bad games. I loved watching Back to the Future as a kid, and hearing Christopher Lloyd’s voice as Doc Brown again should be a blast.

I hope the music are similar with the one made by Alan Silvestri, you know like Shirley Walker’s Batman TAS to Danny Elfman.

I just hope the game makes more sense than the one for the regular 8-bit Nintendo.
