So Thor fights FDR … Thank you for that Rodrigo.
Damn, beat me to it.
Honestly I misread it, I thought it was the next novel you were doing, because I’m not very versed in anything from before I was 14 or so, so I didn’t understand, I didn’t realise it was a comic.
Also being young, I had never heard of these people, and anything relating to reality tv just ticks me off because of the trash it has evolved too and I’ve seen.
Heh been there dude.
Matthew, although the comedic elements of your personality are also very memorable, as a part of the Major Spoilers Experience, I think of you more often as a very knowledgeable historian who knows more about Obscure Random Character X than I know about my own sister. So you are definitely way more than the guy who says funny stuff.
Agreed. And not only that, I find that Matthew often provides very interesting and deep thoughts and ideas ; the end note he provided for this podcast is proof of it. So yes, Matthew, you are the funny guy, but it’s only an aspect of what makes you an integral part of the Major Spoilers Experience.
Is anyone else having issues with iTunes and Major Spoilers? Though I am subscribed, I have to click “Update Podcast” every time I want a new episode to download. However, it is NOT happening with any of my other podcasts….
Check the properties of the feed. It should autoupdate along with the rest of your feeds.
Thanks for a great show.
By the way, “Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Smith of Anytown USA” is a reference. Anybody (who is not Bruce Otter) know where from?
Great review–as per usual. Two hours ago, I never would have read ‘Pedro And Me’ because of its Real World connection. But you guys have convinced me that this would be kind of like skipping ‘Watchmen’ because of squid allergies.
And thanks for the shout-out, although I do feel a little cheated that Matthew didn’t even *try* to butcher my name.

Precisely how WOULD one butcher “Nicholas Smith?”
I suppose you could pronounce it Throatwobbler Mangrove, but that’s stretching a point.
Yeah, I should have said it was pronounced ‘Smythe’ or something. My bad.
