No, you can’t label the Silmarillian issue #1, it’s more like the prequel that was released afterwards. It would be like trying to read Atomic Robo in chronological order, or reading the Magician’s Nephew before the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Issue #1 is the Hobbit, then the Lord of the Rings, then you get the back of the book bit where the creator is talking about behind the scenes stuff, and then you get the time-line that is the Silmarillian.

Great issue, probably check out Holy Terror. Great RENT reference, but don’t presume the inner snow level of hell is out of the east coast. ha ha.
