Conan makes an appearance in the Art Appreciation Moment of the Day, with a piece by Carlo Pagulayan. I’m digging the fine detail of this drawing that he used as a tryout for the redesign of the current Dark Horse Comics Conan series.

Classic look to the barbarian from the north.
It’s not Red Sonja! It must be a new week. heh heh
I like the piece pretty well. It carries a lot of his personality in the body language and facial expression.
After that last piece with Red Sonja in motion though, I’d like to see someone capture these characters when they aren’t posing for the camera.
