    Like vampires?  Want a totally different take on Dracula?  Then check out Top Cow’s Impaler #1 that arrives in stores this week.  Top Cow was kind enough to send Major Spoilers a sneak peek of the first issue, that you can see after the jump.

    Impaler #1
    (W) William Harms       (A) Matt Timson     (Cov) Matt Timson, Sheldon Mitchell

    The terrifying story that began in the IMPALER VOL. 1 trade paperback continues with a new ongoing series from Top Cow!

    Millions of vampires have descended upon America. In a desperate bid to defeat them, the U.S. military nuked New York City but unfortunately, it was too little, too late. The vampire horde had already advanced westward, but how far? A team of soldiers sent to rescue a politician’s plane that crash-landed in New Jersey find out the hard way. Humanity’s only chance may rest in the hands of vampire hunter Vlad the Impaler and his new companion, a depressed New York City detective who wishes he was dead.

    Don’t miss the next thrilling chapter of the International Horror Guild-nominated story!

      Crazy!! I bought a long box full of various stuff from my LCS about 2 months ago and all but forgot about it until late last night when I got bored and cleaned my office/Comic Book apocalypse and searched through it.

      There I have Impaler Issues 1 2 and 3 on the Image line.

      So damn it, I’ll have to check this out.

      Yeah, I have the graphic novel. I just sold it on Ebay for like 25 cents.

      @Gaumer

      This looks awesome. Impaler came out initially when I got back into comics and loved the first 3 issues … never knowing what happened to the series. I’m ecstatic that Top Cow has picked it up, I have long sung this book’s praises.

      If only Andrew Cosby would pick up the Damn Nation story again … but I guess he’s busy at BOOM!
