Marvel has once again announced their campaign to exchange unsold DC comics for a limited edition copy of Fear Itself #6. “In these tough economic times, feel it’s our duty to help,” explained David Gabriel, Marvel Senior Vice President of Publishing, Sales and Circulation. “After the overwhelmingly positive response to our Comics For Comics programs, through which we received tens of thousands of covers, we’re excited to provide retailers with the chance to help their stores through selling an ultra-rate variant.”

If you were still trying to figure out Marvel’s cryptic teaser image, you don’t have to burn anymore brain cells as it’s been announced that Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness are bringing Cable back in Cable Reborn. At the end of the Spider-Man panel at the San Diego Comic Con, Marvel showed the audience this image. Fans of the Spider-Man universe instantly recognized the blue hoodie as the one that belongs/belonged to Ben Reilly, Peter Parker’s clone.  Does this mean Ben is back?  We’ll leave that for you to debate as you wait for the answer at some point in the future.  And by future we mean the very near future, as we expect to see Marvel solicitations for October as early as Monday. via Comic Vine
