It’s a great week here at the podcast, so it’s time for another great conversation! In Episode 448, it’s the return of David Pepose, the writer of Going to the Chapel and Spencer and Locke, two wonderful comics you can order through your local comics shop!

During this discussion, we talk about his very first Kicksarter, and it’s for The O.Z. #1, which you can support at this link! Here’s the book’s description: “Haunted by her past, a disillusioned Iraq war veteran must survive the war-torn land of Oz.” Of course, the O.Z. stands for the “occupied zone,” which is something we talk about. David and I discuss his take on these familiar characters and some of what he has in store for them. He’s taken Kickstarter by storm as well, having passed 400% of his original goal recently (and he’s got three weeks more to go, too). We delve into how long he’s been working on this project, who the art team he’s assembled is, and what else he’s working on! David is one of those great up-and-coming comics creators you should keep up with, so don’t miss this fun conversation!
