When The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies gets a big preview on Saturday, expect LEGO to be close behind (if not ahead of Warner Bros.) when it pulls the curtain back to reveal LEGO: The Hobbit – The Lonely Mountain playset.

Though LEGO has plenty of dragons in its medieval sets, this will be the first set that featurs Smaug – or Smarg for you @gailsimone fans.

The LEGO: The Hobbit – The Lonely Mountain set has 866-piece and includes minifigs of Bilbo Baggins, Balin Dwalin, Ori, and Gloin.  From the photo it looks like we are getting the forge area of the former Dwarven kingdom under the Lonely Mountain.

The Lair of Smaug, will also feature the Arkenstone throne, golden nuggets, and of course Smaug. This set is going to set you back $129.99.  A small price to pay for such an exquisite set!
