So, you may have heard they are remaking the Sam Rami classic, Evil Dead.  Nothing but good things have been said by those involved, and The Chin himself, Bruce Campbell.  The Redband trailer has arrived, and it is full of some spooky and scary things.  If you are at work, I’d advise making sure the boss isn’t around, and the speakers are turned down before clicking the play button.

makes you wonder if it is actually a remake or a sequel, could Ash have been the one to put the warning in the book?

Being that Evil Dead 2 was a remake and a sequel in one, I wouldn’t be surprised if this Evil Dead ends up being the same sort of thing.

I have some doubts. Looks like a lot of Hostel-type gore porn is in there. And I don’t need that in my demon story so much.

However, the director indicated a distinct lack of CGI, and I am down for supporting that. Hope it’s scary more than squicky.
