Poor Lester Girls; great looks, wealth, women throwing themselves at him, one adventure after another… you get the picture. The trouble with Girls is that he wants an ordinary average life, but he just doesn’t get it. The problem with an independent title in the 80s, was it rather difficult to find at my local shop filled with DC, Marvel, and that upstart Dark Horse. If you have missing issues of TTWG in your collection, you can catch up with Girls’ adventures this…

Set your TiVo for the Cartoon Network on October 28 to catch the Hellboy animated movie, Sword of Storms. Comics Continuum has a couple of quotes from supervising producer Tad Stones and Mike Mignola who say the movie shouldn’t be edit for television, but regardless the DVD release will be unedited. Hellboy creator Mike Mignola noted that the animated universe stands on its own from the comic books or the live-action film. “It’s not radically different,” Mignola said. “It’s recognizable, but it’s a little different, which I kind of like. It’s nice to keep them different.” via Comic Continuum (link)
