The series takes place two years prior to the events seen in Sci Fi Channel’s Battlestar Galactica series. The tale is written by Luke Lieberman with art by Lui Antoni and covers by Paul Renaud, Aaron Lopresti, and Mel Rubi. Doom of the Gods is the follow-up to last years’ immensely powerful Red Sonja versus Thulsa Doom mini-series by co-writers Peter David and Luke Lieberman with artist art by Will Conrad, and features the She-devil with a Sword in an epic battle against the powerful necromancer Thulsa Doom. The all CGI Beowulf movie is set to land in theaters November 16, 2007, and IDW Publishing is prepping its adaptation of the ancient story for a weekly release.
