The MAX imprint at Marvel is preparing for a blizzard of activity this winter as the ongoing Punisher MAX series will be joined by a slew of exciting mini-series including Hellstorm: Son of Satan, Foolkiller, Zombie, Wisdom, Haunt of Horror: H.P. Lovecraft. In order to preview all of the upcoming MAX projects, Marvel is offering a low-priced MAX sampler to give fans a taste of the different adult-themed series hitting stands this winter.

(Cartoon Network Press Release)Boosted by the heroic exploits of its newest animated series from Marvel Comics and Moonscoop Animation, Cartoon Network’s premiere of Fantastic Four (Saturday, 8 p.m.) scored double-digit delivery and ratings gains among targeted kids 6-11, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. The performance helped the network chart mostly double-digit prime time and total day weekly delivery and ratings growth vs. the same time period last year among all key demos, including kids 6-11, kids 2-11 and tweens 9-14.

Vaughan to Leave Runaways With Issue #24 The Runaways recently lost one of their own when a teammate died in Runaways #18 and now they’re about to lose two more members of the family as writer and co-creator Brian K. Vaughan is leaving the title with issue #24 along with co-creator and penciler Adrian Alphona. Vaughan’s run on the Runaways will span 42 issues, in that time accumulating a rapid fan base as well as a wealth of critical praise, winning several awards.
