Variety has confirmed what we reported on months ago – Terrence Howard will play Tony Stark’s buddy Jim Rhodes in the upcoming Iron Man movie. It’s pretty much accepted that, unless Iron Man turns into a huge bomb in the box office, the franchise and sequel potential is very high. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Beau Garrett and Andre Braugher have been cast in Tim Story’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Garrett will play Frankie Raye, while Braugher is cast as a general in charge of capturing the Silver Surfer. Fans of the HBO series Entourage will recognize Garrett from season one as the girlfriend who connect the guys with her sherpa. Frankie Raye originally appeared as the Human Torch’s girlfriend, but became Nova when she volunteered to be the Herald of Galactus.
