As odd as it sounds, C.B. Cebulski is taking on the Avengers and Spider-Man and turning the titles into classic fairy tales. Spider-Man Fairy Tales tells the story of Little Red Riding Hood, but Marvel Editor Molly Lazer warns readers well known characters may not be cast as expected.  Ric Terico will be doing the artwork on Spider-Man Fairy Tales issue that will be released in May.

Marvel Comics has sent us a sneak peek of the variant cover to Astonishing X-Men #19. This issue marks the beginning of the end of the Joss Whedon and John Cassaday arc. Each issue of the final arc will feature 50/50 covers by John Cassady, with each cover featuring an iconic shot of a different team member. Marvel Comics has posted an interview with Civil War: Young Avengers & Runaways writer Zeb Wells, who is now taking the reins of the new Heroes for Hire. My stories will build on the themes and character interactions from Jimmy and Justin’s run. I actually take over with issue #8, which is the final part of a three-part story, so I obviously want my stuff to jibe with what came before.  That said, we do start shaking things up fairly quickly, so current readers (and new ones!) are in for an exciting ride. Marvel Comics has announced another variant cover for Ultimate Spider-Man #104.  In addition to the previously announced Mark Bagley homage to Joe Quesada’s cover to ultimate Spider-Man #1, a special White variant is also in the works.  The White Variant is sure to be a hard to find item, as only one will be available for every 100 shipped. Issue #104 wraps up the incredible Clone Saga as Spidey takes on Doctor Octopus in the biggest fight of his young life with the future of all those that he cares for at stake. Marvel says they do not plan on going back to press. However, Major Spoilers has obtained an eight page sneak peek at Issue #2, which you can see after the jump.
