Looks like Warner Bros. is going all out in the cranking up the hype machine and tie-ins for next year’s Watchmen movie.  The company’s interactive division has announced at least two Watchmen inspired games that tie to the movie. The videogames based on WATCHMEN will go beyond the film and delve into the characters, rivalries and challenges in a mature action-brawler. The game provides gamers with visceral superhero combat as urban vigilantes Rorschach and Nite Owl. WizKids has announced it has sold out its entire Crisis inventory in the U.S. and Canada. This morning during the Q4 conference call it was asked if Marvel had thought about going into the game market after the announcements of several companies dropping Marvel games (Microsoft’s Marvel MMO).  In a nutshell, Marvel did say it was not pursuing this venture at this time.
