Or – “More Colons Than Your Average Proctologist…” One of the only missteps of the whole Dark Reign crossover, for me, has been the characterization of Clint Barton, the hero now known as Ronin.  As Hawkeye, he was willing to leave his beloved wife over the implication that she even ALLOWED someone to die, much less committed murder, and now he’s willing to kill Norman Osborn to prove a point?  It’s an odd change of characterization for me, which makes the whole thing questionable.  What’s the Marvel equivalent of a Tom Welling Prime punch?

With all the news that has been going on with Disney buying Marvel Comics, I thought that it would be nice to take a look at some of the Disney books that have been put out recently by Boom! At the recent Wizard World Philadelphia convention (which took place this past June) there was a particular cosplayer getting an enormous amount of attention and upon laying eyes on him, it was easy to see why. Mark’s return to the Ultimates was well trailed by the Marvel publicity department and everyone was expecting big things from the titles original scribe. Well nobody can say that he has run out of ideas in his time away from his onetime signature book because we are only two issues into the new run and already the direction this comic is going to take is starting to become clear.
