While doing PR for his upcoming film Candy, Heath Ledger let spill a couple of comments regarding his upcoming role as The Joker in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. It’s definitely going to stump people. I think it’ll be more along the lines of how the Joker was meant to be in the comics, darker and more sinister. Booster Gold Memorial Issue Today we mourn the loss of Booster Gold. He went out with a bang – literally. Week fifteen finds Booster Gold at his lowest point. His sponsors have all backed out, bills are overdue, and Supernova is taking all his glory. Instead of going the route of Ralph Dibny and putting a gun to his mouth, Booster shows he is a true superhero when a submarine accident in midtown Metropolis gives him hope of redeeming himself.

If you didn’t get a chance to go to San Diego this year, you missed the panel on the fourth season of The Batman (currently on Kids WB). Someone has posted the entire preview over at YouTube and you can catch all of the new characters and some interesting tidbits. Looks like there will be a future episode story that takes place in 3027 and 2027, as well as the introduction of Nightwing, Oracle, Mothman, and Harley Quinn. The Detroit News is still fanning the speculation that Aquaman may be resurrected from the depths of Davey Jones’ Locker. Fan and blog sites (like Major Spoilers) have been pushing the idea that the success of Aquaman on iTunes should convince the networks to reconsider the show.
