Hasbro has announced toy tie-ins for the Marvel Iron Man movie and comic franchise. The Iron Man mask actually looks pretty cool, it’s just too bad it doesn’t come in 30-year-old-comic-nerd sizes.

Hasbro has unveiled the toys inspired by the Spectacular Spider-Man television series, movies, and comic book. It looks like there will be around 50 figures (including villains) released throughout the year. The one I think will be cool is the Remote Control Wallcrawler Spider-Man that uses vacuum-pump technology to let the wall crawler climb the walls. Take the jump for the toys unveiled at Toy Fair 2008 in New York

Check out these image of Frank Cho’s artwork for Hasbro’s Shanna-Kazar-Sabu Action Figures. Does this mean this will be a regular-run-to-the-local-toy-store-and-buy-figure? You guys are probably wondering what these art are from. Hasbro recently hired me to do the box art for their massive action figure toys, which will contain Shanna, Kazar and Sabu. These two are the art for the box flap. The front will have a massive art by me with all three figures, Shanna-Kazar-Sabu. If you are one of the lucky few to be in New York next week, don’t forget the annual Toy Fair will be going on from February 17 to the 20th. I really wish I could go because I’m very excited about seeing the next way of the DC Universe Classics figures, including the giant build a figure Grundy. One of the surprising figure sets that continue to be released is the JLU figures from a television series that has been off the air for a couple of years. I always make a beeline to the toy aisle of the…

The Gotham by Gaslight Batman has had a pretty good run since his original appearance by Mike Mignola and Brian Augustyn – it’s just too bad about getting turned into a creature of the night in the Countdown Arena. And while we’ve already seen the Steampunk Blue Beetle, what would the rest of the JLA look like? The guy that runs Sillof’s Workshop has the answer with Gaslight Justice League. Stunningly beautiful mods borrowing parts from other figures along with custom molds the Gaslight Justice League is one that DC Direct or Mattel might want to pick up and make…

Diamond Select Toys has announced the next new figure from retro-inspired Star Trek cloth figures will be Khan Noonien Singh. Unlike the Kirk, Spock, and Klingon figures that were based on molds from the original Mego line, Khan is a brand new sculpt that features the same level as detail as the rest of the line. Genetically engineered during Earth’s Eugenics Wars centuries earlier, Khan attempted to gain the crew’s trust and take over the Enterprise for his own purposes. Barely stopped by Captain James T. Kirk, Khan was exiled to the distant Ceti Alpha V and forgotten. Refusing to…
