New Phoenix Filmworks has announced the launch of the official Paula Peril movie website for the film Paula Peril: Midnight is the Darkest Hour. “This project is one of the largest and most ambitious films we’ve ever done” said Andy Rodriguez-McCradic, owner of New Phoenix Filmworks, and Director of the upcoming film “We felt a specially-designed website was needed to give fans a place to go for the latest photos, video, or downloads related to the film.” Paula Peril: Midnight is the Darkest Hour staring Valerie Perez will debut next year. Dynamite Entertainment has announced Darkman will return to comics in December, and will be written by Ford Lytle Gilmore with Tommy Smith doing the art. Now, Peyton Westlake has fled town in his attempts to distance himself from Julie, all while continuing his research; his obsession with his lost love was greater than his obsession with perfecting his synthetic skin, and he found himself unable to stay away. The Marvel Universe is still feeling the impact from the limited House of M series, and in House of M: Avengers #1, writers Christos Gage, and artist Mike Perkins take a look at the Avengers. Marvel has sent us a sneak peek of the series that arrives November 14, 2007.

According to Variety Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris have decided not to return to write the sequel to the Superman Returns movie.  Opted not to return, or asked not to return?  Considering the negative criticism the film received from movie goers, this sounds like a great PR stunt to let them bow out gracefully. I’m just as surprised as you are in this sudden change of events. Dynamite Entertainment has announced Battlestar Galactica: Season Zeros is moving from a six issue mini-series into a full blown 12 issue maxi-series. The series takes place two years prior to the events seen in Sci Fi Channel’s Battlestar Galactica series. In BSG: Season Zero #5 Adama confronts a terrorist army as he, Kara, Hadrian, Cottle, Helo, and a whole slew of marines attack the terrorist headquarters. What happens in issue #6?
