She related to Metamorpo… I’m presuming?
Don’t know about this incarnation, but the original was a government spy who was sent into the same pyramid Rex Mason (Metamorpho) went into. It turned her into Element Girl.
She died in a really touching story by Neil Gaiman’s Sandman. I’d heard she was already back, or was coming back or something. She was always kind of a 3rd or 4th tier character.
