ANOTHER New Deadpool and Wolverine Trailer
Following the hype train Deadpool and Wolverine drove out of Cinemacon earlier this week Disney released another new trailer for the only Marvel Cinematic Universe movie we have releasing this year:
Deadpool & Wolverine | Official Trailer | In Theaters July 26
LFG. Watch the new trailer for Marvel Studios’ #DeadpoolAndWolverine. Only in theaters July 26. ► Watch Marvel on Disney+: https://bit.ly/2XyBSIW ► Subscribe to Marvel on YouTube: http://bit.ly/WeO3YJ Follow Marvel on Twitter: https://twitter.com/marvel Like Marvel on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/marvel Watch Marvel on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/marvel Reward your Marvel fandom by joining Marvel Insider!
While the trailer itself is funny I also, personally, find it funny that Marvel Studios and Disney need a Fox X-Men character to boost ticket sales and drive their shared universe forward in 2024.
This particular trailer illuminates the “Wolverine” element of the title. Hugh Jackman returns to play yet another version of James Logan Howlett opposite actual Canadian actor, Ryan Reynolds, who reprises his role as Wade Wilson.
Accompanying the new trailer were two posters:

Flash Goes Missing in Crisis
Fans of the Arrowverse and the breakout show, The Flash, celebrated quite a milestone yesterday:
Yesterday was the day canonically in show continuity that Barry Allen, the eponymous Flash, disappeared during the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths. Series star, Grant Gustin, took to his official instagram account to assure fans there was no need to worry and everything would be okay:

It was a nice reminder for a community of fans of a show that brought people together and a comic book show adaptation which set a new standard for the type of storylines which could be adapted to live action.
How many of us have spent decades referring to Crisis on Infinite Earths as “unadaptable?”
Sam Rami Says He has No Plans for Spider-Man 4
On the red carpet for the upcoming Boy Kills World (produced by Sam Rami), the original Spider-Man movie trilogy director addressed fan hopes, dreams, and rumours about a possible Spider-Man 4 when speaking with The Wrap:

Many MCU fans are hoping Rami will get his hands on an Avengers (maybe Dark Avengers, hmmm?), film, but that, too, seems destined to be news of the future.
Boy Kills World director Moritz Mohr also gave an interview to Variety about his feature debut, pushing the envelope for an American audience, and how producer Sam Rami helped him navigate the difficult rating system in the Bill Skarsgård-led film.
When Variety asked:
You don’t hold back on the brutality and blood in this movie. Were there any fights with financiers or censors along the way?
… Mohr praised Rami’s careful hand:
“No fights whatsoever. When we got Sam Raimi on board way in the beginning, I knew we were in good hands. We can’t do anything this man hasn’t done before, or shown to some degree. We knew that we had a lot of leeway there, and all the other producers got with it as well. What I kept thinking about while doing it was, ‘Everybody should get what they deserve.’ You can’t kill that little henchman so viciously. If you’re brutal, you go, ‘That’s a bit much.’ You have to find something that makes sense at that moment, and don’t be overly sadistic. But I think we struck a line and there’s always the fun aspect to it.”
Boy Kills World debuts this weekend on Friday, April 26th and is hoping to follow in the trend of breakout horror films which have swept the box office this year from Monkey Man to Immaculate. Check out the trailer below to see if Mohr and Rami might win your ticket money this weekend:
