Sony announced it has moved up the release date for the third Venom movie, and given the film an official title.
Tom Hardy returns for Venom: The Last Dance on October 25, 2024. It was originally to be released on November 8, but you know, everything is fluid today.
Speaking of fluid – or more specifically, a viscus slime creature from another planet – the details of the movie, which again, opens in October, is being kept under wraps for now, which isn’t a horrible idea. Keep the audience in suspense, don’t give everything away in the trailer, and then unleash Venom on the world (metaphorically).
Kelly Marcel is making her directorial debut with this project, and she also wrote the screenplay for the film.
With Madame Web not getting the success Sony hoped, a lot might be riding on this franchise that to date has brought in $1.2 billion.
What say you, Spoilerites!?
