Love a deviled egg. If you’ve never had or made sriracha deviled eggs (basically just swap out the mustard for sriracha), you’re messing up. It’s also a great chance (assuming everyone’s a fan of the spice) to play a little russian roulette, see who gets the sriracha egg in a plate of standard inert ones.
Generally a big fan of wings of all sorts (even the misunderstood and unfairly hated boneless variety), a nice vinegar/brown mustard-based cole slaw or potato salad, guacamole, pulled pork or ribs, lamb skewers…generally not a big burgers/red meat fan, but everything else is fair game.
A super underrated memorial day bbq/food item is seafood. Grilled shrimp, swordfish or tuna steak, ceviche, calamari, love seafood when i can afford it.
About the only weirdo outlier is sushi. I’ll never refuse sushi no matter what day it is.
