It’s like the tagline says: At Major Spoilers, we know you love comics, and we do, too. Most days, I read at least one comic book, whether it be for review purposes, looking for a decent image of a particular character or just because I love ’em. But at any given point, the last comic book I read may or may not be the one I’d want to remember forever if it WERE the last. Thanks to Calamity Jon, mine would be an issue of Speed Comics from 1940, but before that it would be Batman #100. One might be easier to explain to a random person on the Internet, but Mars Mason’s adventures are more exciting, leading to today’s essentially random query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) sometimes misses the days when I was grading comics for a living, depending on how you define “living”, asking: What’s the last comic book that YOU read?

Strange Academy #3, and next in stack is My Hero Academia vol. 25. I like to order my reading stack to have some thematic transitions.
That sounds difficult…
Some of the transitions can be very tenuous, it’s true. Sometimes the connection is a writer or a genre, other times it’s just that it’s the same publisher. I don’t think about it too hard, just a quick sort with each week’s haul.
X-Men 30 from 1994. For the last few years I’ve been going back and rediscovering my old collections. Currently reading X-Men. Reread Suicide Squad, Lobo, Legion of SH, Spectacular Spider-Man and others.
From start to finish, Nivawa and I vol #3. Its a slice of life comedy manga. Last single issue is probably #30-something of Knights of the Old Republic. I don’t really remember because its part of Epic Collection vol. #2.
