Thanks to ‘A Very Brady Renovation’, I’m reminded of how cool (and architecturally impossible) the Brady home was, with it’s big 60s staircase, stone walls and MASSIVE backyard. Seeing the amount of work the renovation team and surviving cast have to go through in order to simulate that interior in the much smaller house reminds me of the best reason to live in a sitcom home: THEY’RE HUGE! Monica and Rachel’s apartment is bigger than the house I grew up in, Marshal and Lily’s Long Island house is the size of a small county and Uncle Phil’s mansion, were it in Europe, would be called “Lichtenstein”, leading to today’s cavernous query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) is torn between the spacious Hollywod mansion of the Vega clan or the starship Serenity (which I’d probably hate for being to cramped, but is way cool, asking: Which sitcom home would you most want for you personal abode?

Maybe Frasier Crane’s apartment. As an added bonus, in Seattle’s current housing market, I could sell it for a small fortune if I ever needed the money.
A big place is nice, but I pick The Monkees swinging surreal pad. Anything could happen and specialty rooms suddenly appear as needed. Kinda like an reverse Tardis. Plus, their alarm clock wakes you up with “Good Morning” by The Beatles.
For the mini riding train through the house, I’ll say the abode from Silver Spoons.
